Main function of the agent is to improve the machinability on secondary operating of the PM products. Common used cutting improving agents in current market include Manganese sulfide and Calcium fluoride, both have some defects. Manganese sulfide can improve the cutting performance well, but because it has sulfide, it can reduce the physical properties of the products, and pollute the products, sintering furnace and working environment, also it has high cost. Regards Calcium fluoride, it is relatively low cost, but it has no good effect to improve the cutting performance.
After years of R&D, our cutting improving agent has the advantages of Manganese sulfide and Calcium fluoride, while avoid the defects. It is cost efficient, the add amount of 0.3%-0.4% can achieve the machinability of 0.5% Manganese sulfide. As it has so sulfide content, no sintering pollution produced, to extend the service life of sintering furnace and steel belt. The products has pure color and bright appearance, no rusting for a long time.
Our cutting improving agent can be widely applied in Fe/Cu/Stainless steel based PM products and magnetic materials made by cold/warm/hot pressing, and injection moulding.
